Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule tailored to your caseload. You will engage in virtual sessions with clients through secure communication platforms, ensuring that both you and your patients can meet in a confidential and comfortable space. Collaboration with other team members occurs through an advanced digital healthcare management system designed to enhance patient care and maintain accurate and compliant clinical records.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop individualized treatment plans focused on their specific needs and recovery goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective psychotherapy to individuals experiencing mental health challenges related to substance abuse.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care, sharing insights and recommendations that lead to comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain ongoing documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and engage in follow-up assessments to ensure optimal care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health and substance abuse resources, empowering them with knowledge and strategies for recovery.
• Stay informed on the latest research in substance abuse and mental health, integrating new findings into your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals facing challenges related to substance use disorders who require both emotional support and concrete strategies for their recovery journey. The hospice setting necessitates a sensitive approach, as many clients will be grappling with profound life changes and the need for compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A valid LCSW license in California.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication proficiency, particularly in a remote environment, ensuring clarity in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with a specialization in substance abuse therapy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused interventions and treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 52,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
