Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be entrusted with:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments that holistically evaluate patients' psychological well-being alongside any co-occurring medical conditions.
• Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's needs.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage communication and personal growth.
• Partnering with medical providers to ensure continuity of care and effective treatment strategies that yield optimal patient outcomes.
• Providing urgent crisis intervention and support to patients facing mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
• Educating patients on the interplay between mental health and physical health, equipping them with practical strategies for managing their conditions.
• Maintaining precise and confidential documentation consistent with ethical and legal guidelines.
• Actively participating in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and collaborative treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve engaging with individuals facing mental health challenges that may coincide with chronic medical conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster meaningful interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines while providing compassionate care.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and other digital applications for effective patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
