District Sales Manager - Precision Metrology

About the Opportunity Our client, an established international manufacturer of precision measurement equipment, is looking for a District Sales Manager across the South Central U.S. The company offers a broad portfolio ranging from handheld gauges to advanced dimensional, surface, and optical measurement systems, spanning industries including aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and general manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute territory sales strategies to grow revenue and market share. Identify new business opportunities while managing existing customer relationships. Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and recommend appropriate measurement solutions. Support distribution partners through technical guidance, product demonstrations, quotations, and product updates. Manage sales opportunities, pipeline activities, and forecasting through Salesforce CRM. Collaborate with internal marketing, customer support, and product development teams. Based in your home office, travel regularly throughout the territory, primarily by car, with occasional overnight stays (up to 80% travel). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in dimensional metrology, precision measurement, industrial instrumentation, or related technical equipment. Experience in technical sales or industrial capital equipment is preferred. Experience supporting distributors or channel partners is a plus. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and comfortable managing an assigned territory independently.
