About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Ventura MedStaff to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Beloit, Wisconsin, 53511!
Travel ER RN is needed to start in a facility in Wisconsin. WI or compact license is required. 2 years of experience is required. Certifications required are ACLS and BLS. Shifts consist of 6:15-7:15, every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday. There is no call. This is a 27 bed ER. Nurse to Patient Ratios are 1:3-4. The average daily census is 85. Telemetry - Do you have telemetry on your unit or in your department? All units have the ability for remote telemetry What brand are the monitors? GE Do nurses have to read & interpret strips? Yes. Do you have monitor techs? Yes. Does you unit titrate any drips? Not on the telemetry unit, adjusted per orders but not titrated If so which ones? Are they set rate? Yes. Vents – Do you have Vents on your unit? Bipap, Cpap, or High Flow? All the above in CICU and COVID Unit. Floating is dependent on need. EMR is Cerner. Medication system is Omnicell.
