Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of students and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practices.
• Administer and tailor therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to meet each student's unique needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards for confidentiality and ethics.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, and school staff to deliver comprehensive care and support.
• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in peer review meetings to uphold a high standard of care as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.
• Educate families and students on mental health issues, treatment plans, and community resources that can assist in their healing journeys.
• Stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and developments in the mental health field to ensure you are implementing cutting-edge practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on providing mental health support to school-aged children and adolescents in a variety of educational environments. You will work closely with students facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances that may impact their educational experience. Your expertise will empower students and their families, equipping them with essential tools and resources for resilience and well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• At least two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, preferably in educational or child-focused settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and formulating comprehensive treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to connect with diverse student populations and their families.
• Strong commitment to cultural competence, social equity, and ethical practice in mental health care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using telehealth platforms for clinical practice.
• Background in school-based mental health services or knowledge of educational systems and policies.
• Familiarity with interventions that support students with special educational needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, with opportunities for negotiation based on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a progressive benefits package that includes:
