Junior Content Writer

• Location: Rochester, NY
• Requirement: Must be able to commute or relocate before starting work.
• Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM.

Cypress North is a performance marketing agency that works with clients from local businesses to global enterprises. We are hiring a Junior Content Writer to create compelling content for both our agency and clients. This is an entry-level position at Cypress North. If you're a strong writer who knows how to craft engaging written content for humans, by humans, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

• Write copy for digital ads across formats
• Write social media posts and captions across platforms
• Write content for websites including:
• Product and service offering descriptions
• Site data - title tags, meta descriptions, etc.
• Landing page copy
• Blog articles
• Proofread content from other team members
• Attend applicable trainings on SEO and best practices for digital marketing

• A Successful Jr. Content Writer will:
• Complete given tasks error-free in a timely fashion
• Display strong written & verbal communication
• Possess the ability to manage workload & meet deadlines
• Apply feedback from managers and grow
• Understand various industries and audiences
• Participate in content creation strategy and brainstorming

• Required Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience writing for the web

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Superb attention to detail, good judgment, and listening skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Existing knowledge and experience on various social media platforms
• Creativity and storytelling skills
