Join a professional, customer-focused team dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure healthcare environment while providing excellent customer service. This role requires professionalism, situational awareness, and the ability to interact compassionately with patients, visitors, and medical staff.Pay Rate: $19.00/HRKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitorsProvide general security services in accordance with client requirements and post instructionsMonitor access points and conduct routine patrolsObserve, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activityDe-escalate situations professionally and calmly when neededInteract respectfully with patients, visitors, and healthcare personnelComplete required reports and documentation accurately and timelyComply with all DSI policies, client requirements, and safety proceduresQualifications & RequirementsMinimum 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalentValid security license as required by state or local regulationsValid driver's license (preferred)Reliable transportation and means of communicationStrong customer service and communication skillsBasic to intermediate computer skillsAbility to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditionsMust pass all required background checks and drug screeningsRequired Health & Vaccination ComplianceCandidates must provide proof of required vaccinations prior to the first day of duty, or be willing to receive them, including:Influenza (flu shot)PPD / Tuberculosis test (within the last two years)TDAP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)VZV (Chickenpox)Hepatitis BMMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)Available ShiftsDay, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available (based on site needs)BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid trainingComplimentary uniformsEmployee recognition programs
