Our client in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Vascular Surgeon for a 60-day assignment. This role involves 24-hour pager coverage, inpatient rounding, and consults, with potential minimal clinic coverage and weekend requirements as needed. The physician will provide trauma coverage, performing emergent surgeries for vascular injuries from penetrating trauma and ruptured aortic aneurysms, as well as managing surgical referrals and postoperative visits.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide trauma coverage.
- Perform emergent surgeries, including vascular injury from penetrating trauma and ruptured aortic aneurysm repair.
- Handle surgical referrals and postoperative visits.
- Conduct inpatient rounding and consults.
- Offer minimal clinic coverage as needed.
Additional Information
- Board Certification: Vascular Surgery
- EMR: Epic
- Setting: Clinic and Call
- Call Schedule: Out of House Call, with 24-hour pager coverage.
- Patient Volume: Average of 1-2 consults/week, 1-2 urgent emergent cases/week, and 3-5 total cases per week.
- LOA: 60 Days
