Jr Project Manager

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support Finance, Modeling, and Analytics initiatives within a highly collaborative and data-driven environment. This role is ideal for an early-to-mid career professional looking to grow their project management skills while partnering with teams across Modeling, Finance, Technology, and Data Analytics.

The successful candidate will help coordinate project activities, support Agile delivery processes, track project progress, and facilitate communication across multiple stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to take increasing ownership of projects and workstreams while gaining exposure to enterprise-level modeling, data, and reporting initiatives.

Location: Charlotte, NC (strongly preferred). Candidates should be willing to work onsite in Charlotte 2-4 days per week in the future. Newport Beach, CA will also be considered.

Pay Rate: $62-66/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities, meetings, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
• Assist with project plans, status reporting, dashboards, and project documentation
• Track action items, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and status meetings
• Support backlog management and work tracking using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools
• Compile project metrics and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and project leads to support delivery planning and prioritization
• Build strong working relationships across business and technical teams
• Escalate risks, blockers, and scheduling concerns as needed
• Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, PMO support, or a related role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Exposure to financial services, insurance, actuarial, modeling, or analytics-focused environments
• Understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall
• Experience creating project documentation, status reports, and meeting notes
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working with project management or work-tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• CAPM, PMP, CSM, or other project management certification
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Familiarity with data and modeling platforms such as Snowflake, Prophet, or Oracle Cloud EPM
• Exposure to workforce planning, reporting, analytics, or financial modeling environments
• Experience supporting Agile delivery teams
