\nCOMPENSATION: \n
\n- $600,000 to $700,000 Annual Income\n
\n- 1-Year and 2-Year Partnership Track Options\n
\n- $350,000 to $400,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience\n

\nCOMPANY PROFILE: \n
\nThis physician-owned private practice has been serving patients in Grand Island and the surrounding communities since 1999. They operate a main office in Grand Island, as well as smaller satellite offices in the surrounding area, to provide convenience for patients and flexibility for providers. They currently have 2 ophthalmologists and a dedicated support staff, serving patients with full-scope ophthalmologic care. They are excited to welcome a new physician due to growth.\n

\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION: \n
\nThe ophthalmologist will join a busy private practice with a large patient base and strong referral network. A full patient panel will be available immediately.\n
\n
\nOverall duties of the role include, but are not limited to:\n
\n
\n- diagnose eye conditions\n
\n- treat eye conditions\n
\n- work with patients to prevent eye diseases and vision problems\n
\n- perform eye exams\n
\n- prescribe medications and corrective lenses\n
\n- conduct eye surgeries\n
\n
\nAmong other services, the office offers:\n
\n
\n- advanced technology lens implants\n
\n- iStents\n
\n- goniotomy\n
\n- cataract surgery\n
\n- in-office eyelid surgery\n
\n- lesion removal\n
\n- laser surgery\n
\n
\nThe current ophthalmologists perform 600 to 800 surgeries per year and see a maximum of 40 patients per clinic day. The actual number of patients varies based upon types of appointments, patient needs, and physician preference.\n
\n
\nOphthalmologists are highly supported with a team that includes:\n

\nThe practice has extensive resources and state-of-the-art equipment:\n

\n- Compulink EMR with AI Scribe\n
\n
\nThe new ophthalmologist will have the option to participate in hospital on-call for an annual stipend. Call activity primarily happens during daytime hours and, on average, there are 7 to 10 calls per month. It is rare to have call activity on weekends or in the evening. On-call is scheduled flexibility to ensure minimal impact to work/life balance.\n
