Job description
A leading gaming company is hiring a full time Senior Data Scientist to support a remote US team. This opportunity involves working with a growing customer base, analyzing large datasets, and shaping insights to improve gaming experiences.
Senior Data Scientist Responsibilities:
- Analyze extensive customer data to identify patterns and insights that inform product development and user engagement strategies.
- Translate business questions into actionable data studies, ensuring clarity and relevance across teams.
- Develop and automate data analysis workflows to support ongoing research efforts.
- Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations clearly for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement analytical solutions that add value to the company.
Senior Data Scientist Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or 6 years as a Business Analyst.
- Skilled in SQL with experience extracting data from Redshift databases.
- Able to work independently and adapt to ambiguous environments requiring investigation.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Python or R; experience with machine learning, large data processing frameworks, and A/B testing; cross-cultural teamwork experience.
