RN - Med Surgical - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in NYC.\n\nJob Function~\n

• Night Shift.\n
• 3x12.\n
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.\n
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.\n
• Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients' medical information and vital signs.\n
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.\n
• Initiates corrective action whenever the patient.\n\nJob Requirements~\n
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).\n
• Current RN license for the state of New York.\n
• 2 years of acute MS RN experience is required.\n
• BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.\n
