Pediatric Hospitalist - Pocatello, ID

Join our Pediatric Hospital Medicine service in a community hospital setting at a well-established facility in southeast Idaho. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a 205-bed hospital that serves as a Level II trauma center and regional referral center. You will be part of a team that provides care to pediatric patients, including those in our 2-bed Pediatric ICU, 6-bed Pediatric unit, and 16-bed Level III Neonatal ICU. We welcome J1 visa candidates and offer opportunities for collaboration with a sister program just 30 minutes away. Job Responsibilities :

• Provide care for medical patients in the Pediatric Unit.
• Consult pediatric patients in the emergency department and surgical patients.
• Engage in a 7 on 7 off schedule.
• Consult on patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct hospital rounds with call from home.
• Develop a sedation program.
• Participate in a collaborative network with a nearby hospital.
• Engage in teaching opportunities with the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.
