About the role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer – C&I who will work in the Systems Business Unit (SBU) division of Enphase Energy. As a Systems Engineer – C&I, reporting to the Sr Director of Systems Engineering or his delegate, the successful candidate will work on the architecture and development of new Commercial and Industrial (C&I) energy systems, including energy storage.

What you will do

• Apply principles of Systems Engineering to drive the architecture and development of new storage and PV solutions for C&I markets.
• Author the systems requirement document (SRD) along with architectural documents including but not limited to the interface documents, sequence diagrams and integration plans.
• Work on designing and building test setups in the lab.
• Participate in the integration efforts once prototypes are made available in the systems engineering labs, including communication and power testing efforts.
• Report on progress to management, orally and in presentation form.
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders in the organization, across different geographies, that are relevant to the domain.
• Answer the team's technical questions on architecture, design, and the industry standards needed.
• Participate in design reviews of the individual components that go into the design.

Physical Requirements

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $118,000. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
