Business Development Specialist

In this role, you'll help expand our footprint by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing pipelines that fuel company growth. You'll be part of a collaborative sales team where your effort and persistence directly translate into opportunity, professional development, and income potential.
Essential Job Duties
- Generate new business focused on revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Research and identify new markets and customer needs
- Conduct outreach and meet with prospective clients to introduce New Age's logistics solutions
- Present tailored sales solutions and promote our services to help clients achieve their transportation goals
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with company targets
- Provide ongoing support to customers and develop long-term partnerships
- Deliver weekly updates on sales activity, pipeline status, and wins
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience in a sales functionProspecting and closing experienceStrong computer skills and technically savvyStrong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelDemonstrated resilience and comfort with high-volume outreach and rejectionHigh degree of accountability and persistenceStrong sense of urgencySelf-motivated and able to work independently to meet daily activity goalsAbility to remain calm under pressureTeam playerEager to learn and open to different methods of executionCustomer service orientedExcellent persuasion skillsExcellent communication skillsTravel is required based on operational and customer needsPreferred Qualifications
