Interim Chief Financial Officer

Our client is hiring an Interim CFO who will serve as the senior-most finance leader, stepping in to guide and oversee all financial operations during a transitional period. This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, mentoring the newly promoted Controller, and providing strategic financial leadership to the Executive Team and Board.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of accounting and finance, including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Oversee annual audit, tax filings, and compliance with grant requirements
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports
• Act as a mentor to the newly promoted Controller, providing guidance, coaching, and development support
• Help build her capacity to assume the CFO role in the future
