Job descriptionPrepare daily breakfast and lunch items according to the weekly menu Accurately take and fulfill guest orders in a timely manner Serve guests with a friendly, efficient, and customer-focused approach Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures, ensuring all data is recorded in the temperature log Follow approved recipes and production standards to deliver consistent, high-quality meals Transport pots, pans, and prepared food between workstations, stoves, and refrigeration units Store food in designated areas using proper wrapping, dating, labeling, and rotation procedures in compliance with food safety guidelines Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned workstations, equipment, and utensils Perform additional tasks as directed by Holtec Café Management Minimum required qualifications include : Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food service, kitchen or cashier environment A positive, customer-focused attitude with clear and effective communication skills Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and support others Proficient in operating kitchen equipment such as a flat top grill, fryer, and other standard appliances Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques Fundamental math and reading skills for daily operations and instructions Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods Familiarity with register operations, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and printing receipts Ability to take direction from supervisors and lead or support fellow team members as needed ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required Hourly Rate : $17 / hour As a technology trailblazer and a prominent innovator in clean energy (nuclear and solar) industry, Holtec strives to foster a meritocratic work environment conducive to continuous learning and professional growth of its associates.
