About This Role:
This position serves as a degree analyst for the College of Architecture, Planning and Design.
Duties/Responsibilities
Assists APD Director of Academic Advising.
Administers the Degree Audit and Reporting System.
Manages student records and maintains electronic student files.
Monitors graduate school applications, graduation checks, academic progress, and selective admission processes. Detect and reconcile discrepancies or problems in files and records.
Serves as contract for students regarding absence notifications and processes as appropriate.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma/GED and one year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well-organized and a self-starter.
- Knowledge of an academic environment.
- Ability to contribute to the development of a cohesive work team.
- Previous relevant office experience performing detailed, complex operations and detecting and reconciling discrepancies in records and files.
- Ability to correctly apply, interpret and implement policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to develop and maintain rapport with students and co-workers.
- Proficient computer skills, use of a database system and Microsoft Office.
