Were seeking an experienced Director for the new Building Kidz of Dublin West ! Our ECE center provides quality care andeducation for toddlers and preschool children.

Our ideal candidate will be able to operate the centerin accordance with our policies and procedures and California statelicensing regulations title 22 to provide an educational nurturingand safe environment for children parents andstaff.

PrimaryResponsibilitiesInclude :

• Responsiblefor accurate and updated record keeping of onsite teacher childfiles and Community Care Licensingdocumentation
• Managementof CRM system online application competence not limited toenrollment attendance daily logs curriculum childobservations
• Keepinventory orders and purchase site supplies asneeded
• Providedevelopmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for childrenin accordance with Building Kidz curriculumstandards
• Maintainand follow all health and safety practices in compliance with Title22 and early childhood educationstandards
• Conductand create agendas for site meetings staff development and trainingforteachers
• Manageall aspects of employee relations for all teaching staff and isdirectly involved with interviewing hiring andterminations
• Otherduties asassigned

SuccessfulCandidates MustHave :

• Mustbe 18 yearsold
• 5years of early childhood education experiencepreferred
• 1years of business management experience isdesirable
• Experienceor knowledge working at a startup center is desirable but notrequired
• Experiencewith NAEYC accreditationpreferred
• Strongleadership interpersonal and customer service skills arerequired
• Strongoral and written communicationskills

• Abilityto multitask and workindependently
• Abilityto work a flexible schedule including some evenings andweekends

• Completionof CCL RecordKeepingComponent
• Meetseducation criteria required by thestate
• 16hours of health and safety training which includes nutrition andleadcertification
• Immunizationrecords that comply with Senate Bill 792 (immunity for measlespertussis andinfluenza)
• Proofof Tdap and MMR vaccinations (or receive vaccinations during healthscreening)
• Abilityto pass a health screening and TBtest
• DOJFBI and CACI Fingerprint Clearance or Finger Print Transfer Request(LIC 9182) completion of the two CCL Record keeping components withprintedcertificate
• 16hours of Health and Safety training with the two courses : EMSAPrevention of Illness & injury Health and Safety forLicensed Child Care Provider (includes 2016 child care nutritionand 2020 Lead Poisoning Prevention update;

8hour class and EMSALicensed Child Care Pediatric (infant childadult)

CPR& First Aid 8 hours to meet State requirements EMSAApproved ( every twoyears)

EducationalQualifications :

• Highschool diploma or GED and one of thefollowing :
• 12core* ECE semesters units 3 units of infant and toddler developmentand 6 units administration or staff relations plus 4 years ofteaching experience in a supervised licensed or comparable groupchild careprogram
• AAdegree in ECE with *core classes and 3 units of infant and toddlerdevelopment 6 units of administration plus 2 years of teachingexperience
• BAdegree in ECE with*core units and 3 units of administration 3 unitsof infant and toddler development plus 1 year of teachingexperience
• ChildDevelopment Site Supervisor Permit or Program Director Permit fromCTC
• 12core units in Early childhood education must include child / humangrowth & development; child / family / community or child andfamily relations;

and programs / curriculum. You must have a minimumof threesemester units or fourquarter units in each of the coreareas.

16hours of health and safety training with the two courses : EMSAPrevention of Illness & injury Health and Safety forLicensed Child Care Provider (includes 2016 child care nutritionand 2020 Lead Poisoning prevention update 8hourclass)
