We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced AP Contractor to join our client in the Engineering industry. This role is integral to our financial operations and requires a professional with a strong understanding of AP Accrual, Expense Report, Escheatment, Concur, and NetSuite. As an AP Contractor, you will be tasked with managing and optimizing all aspects of the accounts payable process. Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Consulting AP Contractor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

1. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and expense report management.

2. Utilizing AP Accrual and Expense Report systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

3. Implementing and maintaining the Escheatment process in accordance with company policy and state laws.

4. Using Concur and NetSuite for efficient expense management and financial reporting.

5. Collaborating with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.

6. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

7. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the same.

8. Recommending process improvements to create efficiencies and cost savings in the accounts payable process.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering industry.

2. Proven experience with AP Accrual, Expense Report, Escheatment, Concur, and NetSuite.

3. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and principles.

4. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.

5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

9. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
