Summary
The Vice President of Project Delivery will serve as a strategic leader driving JERA's growth through the successful delivery of utility-scale power and clean fuels projects ranging from $300M to $1B+. This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of greenfield, mid-stage, and brownfield projects, including thermal technologies (e.g., combined cycle, simple cycle, reciprocating, and aeroderivative gas turbines), energy storage (e.g., lithium-ion and long-duration), and potentially non-dispatchable renewables (e.g., solar, wind) and low-carbon solutions (e.g., LNG, hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture, direct air capture).
This position leads engineering, project management, and project controls functions, and develops and implements project delivery frameworks and engineering standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in planning and executing large-scale energy infrastructure projects, with strong cross-functional leadership, risk management expertise, and the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to drive portfolio value. This role partners closely with the CPGO, CSO, CCO, M&A, and External Affairs teams to prioritize and optimize project delivery.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
Minimum 15 years' leadership experience in managing large capital projects in power generation
Minimum 8 years' experience managing teams
Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery >
$1B capex
Professional Engineer Registration
