A company is looking for an Applied Scientist.
Key Responsibilities
Build and improve applied ML systems to identify customer readiness and recommend actions
Work with large, messy, real-world data to create features and improve model quality
Design evaluation methods for ML and generative AI, ensuring alignment with business outcomes
Required Qualifications
3+ years of applied ML experience in an academic or industry setting
Strong fundamentals in classical machine learning models including supervised learning and feature engineering
Experience in designing and analyzing experiments with a focus on evaluation methods
Proficiency in Python and common ML tooling, with a focus on clean and maintainable code
Comfortable working with messy and unstructured data, understanding data quality impacts
