Hardware Test Engineer - Entry Level

JOB FUNCTION:

• Test Engineers are responsible for designing and implementing the tests that ensure the quality and the functionality of a product. They are involved in all phases of the testing program, from designing the test parameters to troubleshooting errors, and writing up final test procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: 4 years of high school completion, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in engineering EMET or the equivalent experience preferred EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly, testing, debugging, test equipment programming.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proactive and able to work well independently as well as in a team environment Work well with cross functional teams Strong ownership and organization skills Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.

Hardware Tool:

• Scopes (digital/analog), Multimeter (DMM), Logic analyzer, PC Operating systems: DOS, Windows, Microsoft Office, and Windows NT Bilingual (English & Chinese) preferred RESPONSIBILITIES: Interact with customer to provide Design for Testability analysis during product design phase.
• Develop test strategies and processes for new product release Develop, verify, and integrate the hardware, software, and firmware to test the final products.
• Design and develop test fixtures and equipment.
• Find root causes and develop solutions for failures.
• Develop and update documents and TPI to establish testing requirements and troubleshooting process.
• Document technical issues and solutions Install new test diagnostic when it releases Monitoring the all-test fixtures inside production, troubleshoot when it reports as malfunction Creation and development of SOPs for new test equipment Schedule maintained for each test equipment Update test diagnostic when new FW release via SECN Powered by JazzHR
