Management company looking for an assistant controller who will also do purchasing, to manage the purchasing and accounts payable functions for their properties.
The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, accounts payable, or billing, preferably within the property management industry.
Purchasing experience is a plus.
This role will involve coordinating with property managers, vendors, and regional managers to ensure efficient purchasing processes and accurate billing.
Occasional travel to properties may be required.
Responsibilities :
- Procure all necessary items for the properties, seeking out the best vendors and negotiating prices.
- Enter agreed-upon prices into the system and ensure accuracy of billing.
- Visit properties as needed, approximately once a month, to assess purchasing needs and provide support.
- Manage purchase order (PO) process by reviewing open POs and coordinating with property managers to ensure timely invoice submission.
- Address AP questions and discrepancies, liaising between property managers and regional managers as necessary.
- Post all invoices promptly in the system and ensure accurate recording of monthly contracts and pricing.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in purchasing, accounts payable, or billing preferred.
- Familiarity with property management industry practices is advantageous.
