Global Head of Product Innovation
Grant Thornton is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Global Head of Product Innovation. This executive will lead the global product development lifecyclefrom concept to launchacross multiple markets and regions. A key focus will be scaling product development across global centers, driving innovation, speed, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and execute the global product development and engineering strategy.
- Align product and technology roadmaps with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Build and scale product capabilities across international delivery centers.
- Standardize processes and governance to ensure consistency and quality across regions.
- Optimize global resource allocation and leverage time zone advantages for continuous development cycles.
- Lead high-performing global teams across product development.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle : ideation, design, development, testing, launch, and iteration.
- Drive Agile and Lean methodologies across teams.
- Incorporate low-code / no-code platforms such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Alteryx, and other workflow automation tools to accelerate software development and enhance operational efficiency.
- Set engineering standards for scalability, security, and performance.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities.
- Partner with regional leaders, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure product-market fit.
- Communicate product vision and progress to executive leadership and board members.
Qualifications :
10+ years of experience in product development leadership, with global scope.Proven success in scaling product development across international centers.Deep understanding of software development, hardware integration (if applicable), and product lifecycle management.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.Preferred Experience :
Experience of multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, etc.Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and Big-O notions for efficient coding and performance optimization.Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile, DevOps, and CI / CD pipelines to ensure effective, collaborative workflows and rapid deployment.Database expertise and SQL skills for managing and querying relational and non-relational databases.Understanding of AI and ML frameworks.Experience in SaaS, IoT, consumer electronics, or enterprise software.Familiarity with regulatory environments across regions.Multilingual or experience working in multilingual environments.The base salary range for this position varies depending on the office location.
