At FirstLight Home Care, were dedicated to hiring the kind of people we would trust with our own families for full or part-time positions. Were currently searching for quality caregivers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others for our clients in the Colorado Springs, Castle Rock / Parker, Woodland Park, Peyton area. For these folks, caregiving is not just a job its a calling.

Shifts vary depending on clients' needs but are usually around 7 : 00 a.m. / 8 : 00 a.m. to Noon, 11 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m., 4 : 00 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. and sometimes evenings. Shifts can range from 3 hours to 12 hours.

Caregiver responsibilities include :

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Preparing and serving meals
• Help with personal care such as bathing and grooming
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Shopping, errands, and transportation
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will :

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required - we will train)
• Be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Be able to execute full range of motion such as bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, lifting
• Have reliable transportation to be able to get to client homes
• Be available to transport clients on errands or to appointments (mileage reimbursed)
• Be willing to travel up to 25+ miles to see clients in surrounding areas (mileage / time reimbursed)
