Our corporate client is looking for a Senior Director of Marketing & Communications. High-level details on this role :
Type of role : Full-Time / Direct-Hire
Onsite expectations : fully onsite 5 days / week preferred; client is open to 3 days / week onsite.

In this role, as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for :
Campaign Management
Managing and leading the development of marketing communication plans and deliverables that drive brand awareness, revenue growth, and demand for their product offerings. Deliverables include key messaging, web design and content, digital marketing initiatives, collateral, PowerPoints, and events. While you are not owning the execution of each deliverable, and various internal teams will be, you will need to have experience working across various digital and print deliverables and have a strong eye / vision for how each meets business goals and initiatives.
Work with various internal teams, including product marketing, sales, and business development to identify industry and technology trends and the competitive landscape. You will work with a variety of product teams to better understand and articulate the needs of current and potential customers, and determine strategies for increasing market penetration and revenue. Help launch new products & product enhancements. Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and consistent messaging.
Team Leadership
Leading and mentoring a team of 4 direct reports, including 2 writers and 2 designers. Delegate projects for the team, set priorities and help the team with project management, and ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Event Logistics
Evaluate and recommend potential thought leadership / speaking platforms at relevant conferences and tradeshows. Oversee the development of tradeshow displays, collateral marketing materials, and promotional graphics.
Post-Campaign Analytics
Leverage strong analytical capabilities to analyze research, review campaign performance and results, and optimize accordingly.
The ideal candidate :
10 years' of marketing / communications experience, with at least 5 years' experience at a Director or equivalent level. Experience mentoring / leading a marketing team. A doer; client needs you to be hands on with your team, and not be afraid to go into edit a PowerPoint, edit content, proofread, etc. Strong writing and editing skills, across a broad range of deliverables. Familiar with systems such as Salesforce and / or NetSuite. Experience working within a large, matrixed organization or a company with multiple management levels. Preferred background in the medical device, healthcare, or medical sales industry or experience with companies offering a diverse product portfolio. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate how they have quickly learned a company's products and solutions, and effectively positioned and sold those solutions to a range of customer segments.
