SUMMARY

The Sales Operations Coordinator plays a key role in optimizing sales performance, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring operational excellence across the sales organization. This individual is responsible for maintaining data integrity, managing systems, and delivering insights that help leadership make informed, data-driven decisions.   In the Human Capital Management (HCM) industry - where technology, compliance, and client experience intersect - the Sales Operations Coordinator ensures that the sales team has the tools, processes, and visibility needed to win and retain business efficiently. This role also provides direct administrative and operational support to the Managing Partner to streamline day-to-day sales execution and leadership activities.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Serve as the operational backbone for the sales team by managing the tools, data, and processes that drive sales productivity and pipeline visibility.
  • Support sales representatives throughout the deal cycle - including quoting, proposal generation, pricing validation, contract preparation, and CRM updates - to ensure speed, accuracy, and consistency across all client engagements.
  • Maintain the sales enablement infrastructure, including shared templates, collateral, and process documentation, ensuring the team has quick access to current and compliant materials.
  • Develop and distribute regular sales performance dashboards tracking pipeline metrics, conversion rates, quota attainment, and forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with sales leadership to analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve deal velocity, win rates, and territory performance.
  • Optimize CRM configuration, workflows, and data integrity to enable efficient reporting, automation, and end-to-end visibility into the sales funnel.
  • Work closely with Implementation and Operations to ensure smooth transitions from sales to onboarding.
  • Manage the Managing Partner's calendar, scheduling, and travel logistics , ensuring efficient time management and preparation for meetings.
  • Handle backend sales tasks such as quote preparation, proposal follow-ups, CRM updates, and meeting documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the Managing Partner, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times .
  • Track action items, commitments, and follow-ups to ensure accountability and timely completion.
  • Provide administrative support for client meetings, conferences, and business development activities (e.g., travel coordination, client research, briefing materials).

  • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Advanced organizational skills with experience supporting senior leadership or executives.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience preparing quotes, contracts, or pricing documentation preferred.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior experience in Human Capital Management (HCM), SaaS, or professional services is a plus.
  • E DUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED is required .
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing , or related field preferred .
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of sales operations, business analytics, or administrative operations .
