Job Overview
Prosegur Security is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SOC Operator for a corporate campus in San Jose. This role focuses on monitoring security systems, responding to alarms, managing access requests, and supporting incident response. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, proactive, and able to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining strong communication and teamwork.
Shift Schedule : Wednesday - Sunday (10pm-6am)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
- Monitoring CCTV systems (Milestone), alarm panels, and AMAG Symmetry access control systems.
- Manage badge and access requests promptly and accurately; track badge activity and monitor site security systems in real time.
- Respond to alarms, electronic alerts, and email notifications with urgency and professionalism.
- Monitor and report on security technology systems, ensuring operational readiness.
- Track and respond to email alerts and security notifications using Outlook and MS Teams.
- Maintain detailed incident logs and SOC activity reports in Excel and other systems.
- Answer phone calls from employees, clients, and internal security posts, and dispatch appropriate responses.
- Initiate escalation and notification procedures when necessary.
- Assist with investigations and incident escalation as required.
- Collaborate with other security team members and site leadership to resolve incidents and ensure operational continuity.
- Support emergency preparedness protocols, including evacuation assistance and drills.
- Participate in ongoing training and security readiness exercises.
- Maintain a professional and service-oriented demeanor when assisting employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Stay alert and proactive during downtime, anticipating issues and taking initiative to maintain security readiness.

Valid California Security Guard License.High school diploma or GED equivalent.Exceptional customer service skills are absolutely required.Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred.Comfortable with access control systems and gate operations.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.Must have reliable transportation.Ability to stay calm and think clearly during emergencies or stressful situations.Dependable, reliable, and committed to ethical conduct.Certification Requirements
