Job Description
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead full project lifecycle planning, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource management for industrial science and technology facilities.
- Oversee construction of specialized spaces such as cleanrooms, R&D labs, and advanced manufacturing environments.
- Manage complex logistics involving precision equipment installation and site-specific requirements like contamination control.
Technical Oversight
Partner closely with engineers and technical specialists to implement high-purity piping, redundant power systems, and advanced HVAC solutions.Ensure integration of automation, technology systems, and sustainability-focused building features.Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to meet stringent industry standards.Team Leadership
Lead multidisciplinary project teams including superintendents, engineers, and specialty subcontractors.Mentor junior staff and coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology-focused trades.Facilitate collaboration with scientists, IT teams, facility operators, and other technical stakeholders.Financial Management
Develop and oversee budgets for high-value industrial and tech-focused projects.Manage subcontract agreements, negotiate with vendors, and approve change orders.Deliver financial reporting and cost-saving strategies to internal leadership and clients.Client & Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in biotech, advanced manufacturing, research, and technology sectors.Align construction outcomes with operational needs such as lab workflows, production uptime, and data center reliability.Present detailed progress reports to technical and non-technical audiences.Risk, Compliance & Quality Control

The Successful Applicant
Education
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering fields.Advanced technical degrees are a plus.Experience
Project management experience in industrial science / tech environments (labs, cleanrooms, tech manufacturing).Experience managing projects ranging from $10M to $100M+ preferred.Skills & Knowledge
Deep expertise in MEP-focused industrial construction and controlled environments.Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, BIM tools.Strong leadership, communication, and technical plan interpretation skills.Understanding of modular / prefabricated construction is advantageous.Certifications (Preferred)
PMP, CCM, LEED AP, OSHA 30-Hour.What's on Offer
