HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and operational partner to Operations leadership, supporting multiple Dunkin' locations. This role aligns HR strategies with business goals by driving performance, retention, and compliance across a high-volume, hourly workforce. The HRBP provides hands-on support to district and store managers while ensuring HR policies and programs are implemented consistently and effectively.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at the Forest Hills Corporate Office, Pittsburgh, PA, Monday through Friday. Salary : $60,000 yearly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of HR administrative functions, including system troubleshooting, password resets, data maintenance, and HRIS user support.
- Conduct comprehensive HR audits of recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and employee relations processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead employee relations investigations, coach managers on corrective actions, and ensure consistent policy application.
- Analyze turnover, staffing, and engagement metrics to identify root causes and recommend effective retention strategies.
- Conduct and review background checks; prepare offer letters, and ensure all new hire documentation is accurately completed.
- Lead HR technology and automation initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and process efficiency.
- Develop HR metrics dashboards, training materials, and tools for management teams.
- Collaborate with the HR Director to enroll new hires in benefits, maintain ACA compliance, and support ongoing benefits communication.
- Consult on policy updates and employee handbook revisions in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide guidance on performance management, employee engagement, and recognition programs.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of management and hourly team members, ensuring compliance with background and I-9 requirements.
- Facilitate leadership, compliance, and culture-based training for General Managers and shift leaders.
- Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely employee data within HRIS systems (Paycom and ADP Workforce Now).
- Support special initiatives such as open enrollment optimization, manager development programs, and HR compliance training.
- Assist with Workers' Compensation administration, reporting, and compliance; lead safety committee initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within retail, restaurant, or multi-unit QSR environments.Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters and partner effectively with operations leadership.Strong working knowledge of labor and employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA) and multi-site compliance.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to work independently, think strategically, and implement creative, process-enhancing solutions.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to store locations within the region.
