Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-Time | Colonial Heights, VA (In Clinic)

Location : Colonial Heights, VA

Hours : Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 AM–6 : 00 PM

Compensation : $18–$21 / hr (BT) | $21–$26 / hr (RBT)

Setting : Clinic-Based

About the Role

Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a full-time Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician to join our Colonial Heights clinic. This position supports children with autism through structured ABA therapy delivered in a collaborative, team-based clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in a clinic environment
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA
• Support skill teaching, communication development, and behavior reduction
• Record accurate behavior and session data in electronic systems
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and supervision
• Maintain a positive, compassionate presence with children and families

Requirements

Previous experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, RBT, or in a similar role supporting children with autism or developmental needs RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain and maintain certification) Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and communication Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Dedication to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
