Shop Foreman

We are currently hiring for a Shop Foreman located in

Anaheim, California

to oversee and manage diesel service and repairs.

The ideal candidate would have 10 years’ experience working on diesel tractors. Duties include working with and supervising all shop employees as well as completing and helping with repairs as needed.

Our areas of business include class 8 semi-truck repairs and light / medium duty gasoline engines.

Requirements :

Leadership skills (Experience managing technicians or the shop)

Strong Diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.

Skilled in the operation of power tools and machinery.

Must have tools and a toolbox.

ASE and OEM Certifications

Preferred

Advanced knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment utilized in maintenance repair

Ability to read and interpret documents

Safety Certifications preferred

Basic math and measurement skills

Responsibilities :

Advanced knowledge of both Diesel / Gasoline Engine Diagnostics and repair, aftertreatment repair, DOT / BIT inspection knowledge, hydraulic repair, electrical diagnostics, trailer repair, welding and fabrication experience is a plus as well

High respect for yourself, fellow workers and your job, a great work ethic and being able to handle crews are a must.

Making sure the crews get out on time in the mornings

Must have leadership skills

Preferred to have a valid CDL and driver’s license is required.

Opening and closing the shop daily,

Running special pickups of big items

Fixing trucks as needed

Maintain tools and / or equipment to ensure the availability of the equipment in safe operating condition

Safely operate vehicles of various sizes in the loading, hauling, and unloading of various equipment

Maintain appropriate records of activities

Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance

Adhere to all company health and safety policies

This position is in Anaheim

California. All applicates must live within an hour of Anaheim.

Job Type : Full-time

$30-$50 / hr depending on experience

Education :

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience :

Diesel engine repair : 10+ years (Required)

Managing Technicians : 10+ Years (Preferred)

License / Certification :

Driver's License (Required)

Class B CDL (Preferred)

ASE / OEM Certification (Preferred)
