The Specialist , Cruise Program will be responsible for the program management of the Virtuoso Voyages program. This cruise-focused program enables advisors to sell cruise more effectively through varied enhanced client benefits on specified sailings including : a dedicated and trained onboard host, private onboard welcome reception, and choice of added client benefit.
Virtuoso’s program management leaders work closely with product managers and department leaders to drive product goals forward and maintain internal program performance.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Implement the daily program management of Virtuoso Voyages serving Virtuoso’s member agencies, travel advisors and preferred cruise lines.
- Align with manager on outcomes and KPIs to measure the program’s success and meet long-term business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Virtuoso Voyages Coordinator implementing methods for optimal programming, increased efficiencies, and superior customer service.
- Manage and facilitate Virtuoso Voyages host certification seminars both virtually and in-person, with continued content evolution.
- Manage host application pipeline; work with manager to streamline processes relative to host application and stored data.
- Manage relationships with cruise lines participating in the Virtuoso Voyages program including the selection of sailings designated for program benefits and fulfilment of sailing benefits.
- Liaise with Operations team on registration process, sailing updates, and special requests.
- Understand the program P&L budget to identify growth opportunities for profitability.
- Manage and evolve the RFP process for Virtuoso Voyages shore events.
- Curate content for and host quarterly webinars for advisors on program updates.
- Create content for member-facing network communications on program updates.
- Creation of internal and external presentations in PowerPoint.
- Liaise with Event Operations team on host seminar registrations, Zoom Meeting setup, and event logistics.
- Manage designated email inbox, creating trust and rapport with Virtuoso advisors.
- Maintain Information Page.
- Create an annual program schedule outlining key activities, goals, and opportunities.
- Maintain tracking sheets and dashboard in Smartsheet.
- Liaise with Cruise Partner Relations team on cruise line program participation.
- Collaborate with Member and Partner Relations team on program opportunities, challenges, and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders (marketing, training, technology, sales, business intelligence, and operations), and external agencies and vendors to complete initiatives on time.
Responsible for clearly articulating responsibilities, activities, and deadlines to teams.
Other responsibilities to support the Business Growth department as assigned.
Educational and Skills Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of Program Management or Project Management experience
- Cruise travel industry experience preferred (from agency or supplier perspective)
- Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems

Travel Requirements :
- Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year).
