Clerical Associate III
The Office of Child Support Enforcement's (OCSE) primary mission is to ensure that non-custodial parents provide financial support for their children. OCSE's services include locating absent parents, establishing paternity and support, support collections, and the modification and enforcement of child support orders. The Accounting Department is responsible for all fiduciary functions in OCSE ensuring that child support payments are posted to the correct accounts, and that petitioners receive their child support payments in a timely manner. The Clerical Associate III serves as the Accountant Clerk of the Control Unit. Under the direction of the supervisor, the Senior Clerk is responsible for reviewing various reports generated by the New York State Child Support Office for errors. Minimum Qualifications
Qualification Requirements A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience. Skills Requirement Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
