Oakland / Alameda area Property Management company is seeking an experienced senior-level commercial property manager and lease administrator to take charge of a portfolio of mixed-use retail, office, and residential properties. Company is privately owned and this position reports directly to the owner.

About the Role

This is a senior-level, hands-on position with full responsibility for managing a portfolio of renovated mixed use properties in "main street" locations. Applicants must have commercial property management and lease administration experience, as well as knowledge of basic building construction. This position is the primary contact with tenants, commercial leasing agents, and vendors. The property manager works closely with the company accounting staff and directly manages the maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• This is a hands-on position requiring the ability and desire to run property management operations independently on a daily basis, while maintaining strong communications with the owner.
• The successful candidate will have strong critical thinking and decision-making skills along with the experience to work independently to handle day-to-day property management and lease issues.
• Requires knowledge of basic construction as well as experience managing tenant rehab and small construction projects.
