Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Performing routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with packaging and manufacturing equipment.
- Assisting in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment.
- Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and organized work areas.
- Collaborating with team members to improve processes and enhance machine functionality.
- Documenting all performed work, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting changes that can increase equipment productivity or reduce costs.
- Communicating effectively with management and team members regarding equipment status and maintenance plans.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient knowledge of packaging equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
- Physically able to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance is a plus.
