GENERAL SUMMARY

This position is responsible for managing the accounting department performing many accounting and financial reporting responsibilities themselves as well being involved in all areas where accounting impacts the business. Additionally this individual may be responsible for supporting the CEO in working with outside financing sources and evaluating potential acquisitions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage the financial and accounting activities of the company.
• Maintain an environment with strong internal controls.
• Directs the monthly close and corresponding financial reports in full compliance with GAAP.
• Manage department staff members in a manner that is supportive and ensures a high performing team culture.
• Ensure a proper transition from NetSuite to Workday.
• Ensure Workday is utilized in a manner that is most efficient for the business.
• Prepare for our annual audit and work with outside auditors to ensure an efficient audit with a clean letter of opinion.
• Work with outside CPA firm on tax return items.
• Implement and manage financial and non-financial reporting to provide greater insights at all levels of the business into a variety of internal constituencies.
• Responsible for banking relationships and cash management.
• Manage billing and collections to ensure timely invoicing as well as minimize AR days outstanding.
• Manage accounts payable process and company credit card program.
• Provide timely forecasting of all pertinent financial indicators.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly board package including reporting on covenant requirements.
• Development of company budgets and performance tracking against budgets monthly.
• Work with departmental leaders and other team members to ensure the finance department is providing a high level of support throughout the business.
• Manage vendor relationships that impact our accounting and financial operations.
• Other duties will be assigned on an as needed basis.

WORKPLACE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

We operate a Hybrid work environment (eligible after completion of 90 days on-site) working as a combination of remote and in-office presence as well as the possibility of being onsite at client and / or event locations.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel at least 2 times per year.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

Requires flexibility in scheduling such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client event or company needs.
