Position Overview

iON Pharma USA is seeking a Pharmaceutical Licensing and Business Development Manager to spearhead critical initiatives in product development, FDA compliance, licensing, and partnerships with contract manufacturing and private labeling organizations.

The ideal candidate is results-driven, strategic, and detail-oriented, with a strong background in pharmaceutical business development and regulatory navigation. This individual will play a key role in expanding our portfolio through licensing opportunities and strategic alliances.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute new product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to inform product strategy.

Licensing & Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify potential licensing opportunities and negotiate partnership agreements.
  • Evaluate in-licensing and out-licensing prospects to expand the product portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international partners.
  • Support due diligence, contract execution, and alliance management.
  • FDA Regulations

  • Ensure all products comply with FDA standards throughout their life cycle.
  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs to oversee filings and approvals.
  • Provide internal guidance on FDA policies and regulatory best practices.
  • Contract Manufacturing

  • Identify and assess potential contract manufacturing partners.
  • Negotiate agreements and manage long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee production to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Private Labeling

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow private label programs.
  • Build and manage partnerships to support successful private labeling initiatives.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven success in pharmaceutical licensing and business development
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations
  • Experience in contract negotiation , alliance management, and regulatory coordination.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and project management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience

  • Minimum of 2 year in pharmaceutical business development or licensing
  • Demonstrated success in launching and managing pharmaceutical products.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturing and private label partners.
