Senior Construction Project Manager
ABOUT
Top Ranked National General Contractor with a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects. Actively seeking Senior Project Managers to lead Industrial Tilt Wall Storage / Cold Storage, Data Center, Healthcare, and Manufacturing projects.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Project Manager will have overall responsibility for an assigned construction project with a focus on safety, quality, budget and schedule.
- Implement all safety policies and quality programs, ensuring strong performance on safety audits
- Manage the activities of subcontractors, vendors and labor, maintaining strict control over the accuracy and quality for each work activity
- Plan look-ahead schedules, maintain project schedule controls
- Identify and report problems or deficiencies to the Director / project executives
- Document on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance to project / contract requirements
- Creates change orders to execution
- Miscellaneous purchases
- Review subcontract agreements
- Maintain strict control over the budget for each work activity
- Coordinate receipt of and inventory of all owner supplied material
QUALIFICATIONS
- Verticals include but are not limited to Industrial Tilt Wall / Cold Storage, Healthcare / Pharma, Data Center, and Manufacturing construction Projects
- A minimum of 7 years of construction experience as a Senior Project Manager on projects valued over $20M
- The capability of maintaining and following a Critical Path project schedule
- A thorough understanding of and ability to maintain a current, complete set of project documents, blueprints, revisions, specifications, and related items
