Laurel Heights Hospital is a private behavioral health facility located in located in Atlanta, Georgia specializing in the treatment of children and adolescents who have severe psychiatric, behavioral, and neuro-developmental difficulties. The facility offers a 80-bed private residential treatment center and a 32-bed child and adolescent inpatient unit specializing in the psychiatric stabilization of children and adolescents with neuro-developmental comorbidities including autism spectrum disorders. This is for a part-time position working 20 hours a week 4:00PM-9:00PM and every other weekend.

High school level reading and writing skills; basic arithmetic skills; skills in business English usage; excellent telephone etiquette and tact; pleasant and audible speech, with good enunciation; ability to operate AT&T System 25 or 75 console, or similar switchboard; flexibility; ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles; background, cultures, and social-economic classes; those in crises or resistant or negative toward organization; ability to remain seated at switchboard for long periods of time without significant discomfort or distress. Computer literate, word processing skills, familiar with various computer software packages. In the absence of these qualifications upon hire, must demonstrate ability to learn these concepts and develop these skills within reasonable time frame via organization’s orientation and training program.
