Overview
The Research Support Assistant will peform molecular and cell biology techniques in a team for gene editing projects.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the following :
- Perform genotyping, molecular cloning and sequence analysis in conjunction with our gene editing projects
- Perform shared lab duties such as equipment / material management and lab safety monitoring
- Work with director to identify, evaluate, or develop new methodology to advance our missions
Qualifications
Required :
College level biology or related courses such as genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry or evolution
Preferred :
- Prior experience in tissue culture, molecular biology or CRISPR related technology is a plus but not required
- A successful candidate should be responsible, detail oriented, and perseverant

The hiring range provided represents The Rockefeller University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
