Job Title
This position is located in the Food and Beverage Branch, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department aboard NAS Pensacola. The incumbent is responsible for performing administrative duties requiring a moderate level of experience and discretion in support of the Food and Beverage Branch. Responsibilities include assisting in the formulation of local instruction and directives within the framework of local and DOD component policies concerning established social and recreational services or programs, subordinate responsibilities, reporting procedures, maintenance, and other related operational requirements. The incumbent must maintain good patron and employee relations and efficient patron service. They are also responsible for keeping track of employee's hours and documentation on their time cards, the receipt of daily sales, safekeeping, deposit, and accountability of daily funds, using a computer to prepare and produce various letters, forms, reports, purchase requests, contracts, and statistical data, answering phones, keeping minutes of meetings, collecting all invoices, filing all correspondences, and assisting the manager with additional duties. The incumbent must also maintain all Food and Beverage Branch employee's training requirements.

Knowledge of money handling, daily audit report (DAR), deposits, filing system, and inventories is required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs and reports is essential. Preferred knowledge of Rec Trac and / or similar POS systems.
Key Requirements / Conditions of Employment : Males must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. Selectee must be determined suitable for federal employment. Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period. Selectee is required to participate in the direct deposit pay program. Social Security Card is required.
