Senior Postgres Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Postgres Security Engineer to join their Postgres Team.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and expand the security, permissions, and role system of the hosted Postgres offering

Troubleshoot production issues and resolve complex problems related to custom extensions and performance bottlenecks

Build testing and manage idempotent deployment across multiple Postgres instances

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Postgres security, encryption, RLS, and permissions

Proven experience developing extensions in C and Rust

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL's permission model and security features

Experience with multi-tenant database architectures and managing PostgreSQL at scale

Familiarity with PostgreSQL internals and the ability to navigate its source code
