Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their corporate finance group. This role offers high exposure to senior management, including the CEO and CFO. You will be a vital resource, developing analyses and tools to monitor the operating and financial performance of the company and its affiliates. Success in this position requires the analytical ability to understand and articulate the story behind the numbers in a project-based environment.

Main Responsibilities

Maintain, update, and improve financial forecasts and analyses based on input from various teams.

Provide financial support to the management team through weekly, monthly, and annual analysis requirements.

Assist in the review of monthly project Estimates at Completion (EACs).

Review month-end revenue recognition, contract schedules, and overhead reports, ensuring all differences are reconciled.

Support the annual budget process by developing complex Excel models, conducting cost research, and providing analysis.

Create and prepare PowerPoint presentations for operational reviews, Board of Director meetings, and other key events.

Proactively collaborate with the corporate accounting and finance organization on reporting, analysis, and various projects.

Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; an MBA or related Master's degree is a plus.

3-5 years of progressive experience in a similar role, focusing on financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis.

Substantial experience in financial modeling and advanced proficiency in Excel

Experience with enterprise-level ERP systems and BI tools (Admin level experience is a plus).

Proven ability to perform in-depth analysis of large datasets from multiple sources.

Demonstrated ability to manage project financial performance, analyze complex business problems, and clearly communicate results.

Location : Portland, OR - Hybrid flexibility

Salary : $98,000 - $109,000
