Business Development Manager
Skale is an organic growth agency helping top SaaS and tech brands build predictable, scalable revenue through organic channels. If so, then our Business Development Manager role may just be for you! In a nutshell, you'll be the go-to Skaler for all things Sales. The goal is to be an integral part of our new business growth to support Skale strategically, reach our revenue goals and help build the sales function and future team to manage by EOY. Help Skale scale!
We have a strong funnel, and we need a great business development person to help us turn more great leads into great customers. We want you to arrive hungry to test and iterate on our existing methods, and be super-driven to consistently hit your KPIs, including prospecting, pitching & closing new customers.
What You'll Do :
- Hold discovery and proposal calls with prospects
- Match our prospect's needs to Skale's core services and pricing plans
- Present consultative SEO growth proposals
- Negotiate contracts + close new business
- Manage deal flow in our CRM (Hubspot)
- Own the handover process between sales and operations
- Report on deal status to management via weekly meetings
- Exceed your quota on a quarterly basis
- Own individual quota while working with cross-functional teams to support upsells and cross-sells where needed
- Work strategically with management to support GTM strategy, deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities / challenges, and provide recommended solutions
Our Ideal Candidate Will :
Possess exceptional critical, strategic thinking, and time management skillsHave polished communication skills; ability to drive a conversation with executives and C-level decision-makersCome with 3+ years of experience in B2B, SaaS, or SEO-specific product sales with a proven record for managing a pipeline and converting MQLsHave passion and experience in researching and building business cases around identified opportunities (size of the market, potential sales, revenues, etc.) to close dealsBe proactive and have a propensity towards action. We like short meetings and making stuff happen. Ambitious!Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishReside in a country within European business hours (GMT to GMT +3). Base salary + commission + on-target bonus.Home office role. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
