A leading international equipment manufacturer of commercial printing and paper converting machinery is looking for a field service engineer to focus on its paper converting lines, bags and pouches. This person will be responsible for electrical installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Expect both regional and national travel. This is full remote; you dont need to report to an office. You do need to be 30 to 45 minutes from a major airport. Expect over 50% with weekend work when requested. You should see 3 weeks of national travel, home one week. Strong knowledge of HMIs, PLCs, control systems, and drives are expected. Your ability to understand blueprints and electrical schematics is required.
The ideal candidate is anyone with field service experience working on automation machinery. Any maintenance or service technician in the printing and packaging trades should apply. A BSEE or BSME is desired. Starting yearly compensation ranges from $90k to $110k, pending experience. Plus, they will offer a bonus program when you work a weekend.
