We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a team in Circle Pines, Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in evaluating credit risks, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This opportunity is ideal for someone with excellent analytical skills and a strong background in accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze credit data to assess potential risks associated with extending credit to customers.
• Conduct in-depth research on financial variables and document findings from credit investigations.
• Establish credit lines for customer accounts based on detailed analysis and research in the absence of the Credit Manager.
• Monitor industry economic trends to forecast potential success for new customers.
• Review customer accounts to approve, hold, or deny orders based on account status.
• Perform outbound collection calls to recover past-due balances and resolve payment issues.
• Investigate and address customer invoice discrepancies to ensure accurate account records.
• Oversee the preparation and management of monthly statements and dunning letters.
• Collaborate with external collection agents or attorneys when necessary to recover outstanding debts.
• Reconcile unclear dealer payments and provide support for general ledger account reconciliation.
