Position Overview Salesfloor Clerk Location : Rainbow Blossom St Matthews

Schedule : Must have night and weekend availability; up to 40 hours per week

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, staying active, and providing outstanding customer service. As a Salesfloor Clerk, you will work across multiple departments, assisting with daily tasks, maintaining a clean and safe store, and helping ensure our customers have a great shopping experience. You will report to the Store Manager and Department Managers and check in daily with the Person in Charge (PIC).

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Provide prompt, friendly service and greet every customer warmly.
Assist customers with questions, requests, and product guidance.
Relay customer feedback to managers.

Salesfloor & Stocking

Stock shelves, endcaps, and displays, keeping products organized and visually appealing.

Rotate stock, label items accurately, and report price discrepancies.

Receive deliveries and ensure products are stored correctly.

Assist with produce, grocery, and wellness stock as needed.

Cashier Duties

Check out customers efficiently and accurately, following store procedures.

Bag and assist customers with purchases as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

Handle returns and ensure proper documentation.

Close and balance cash drawers accurately at the end of your shift.

Store Maintenance & Safety

Keep shelves, coolers, counters, and bins clean and orderly.

Maintain bathrooms and department equipment in proper working order.

Alert PIC or managers to safety concerns, shoplifting, equipment issues, or emergencies.

Perform other tasks as needed to support smooth store operations.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Work primarily indoors with some exposure to outdoor conditions.

Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and lift regularly.
