Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center® is a -bed facility that is part of the six-hospital The Valley Health System in the Las Vegas area. We provide a wide range of medical services and procedures, including comprehensive women's services for the Northwest Las Vegas area. In addition to providing digital mammography, gynecologic care and gynecologic surgery, the Women’s Center pays special attention to new moms. During their stay, moms enjoy special menus, massages and afternoon teas. The Women's Center maternity services include labor, delivery and recovery rooms, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Centennial Hills Hospital has taken a progressive approach to health promotion by becoming the first tobacco-free campus in Nevada. Centennial Hills Hospital was ranked as a High Performing Hospital for Heart Failure, Stroke and Maternity Care byU.S. News & World Reportfor 2-3.

Job Description:
Responsible for patient care/service and assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department. Techs working with IVs must have successfully completed an IV course.
License/Certification:
Current BCLS certification. Certification of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or certification by the Education Department of successful completion of an arrhythmia test. Certified Phlebotomist preferred. IV certification preferred.
Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
